Plan Overview
For an annual fee of only US$99.95 per year, a person can be eligible to apply for membership under the Liberty Program. For US$149.95 every year, you can also secure a plan for your family, which would include your spouse, your children and anyone who is a permanent resident in your household.
Members of the plan do not have any yearly maximum to the number of services they can avail of. This means that a Liberty plan member can make an unlimited number of visits to the dentists and still avail of the discounted services. This is a sharp contrast to insurance companies, of which the company claims not to be, that charge, for example, US$500 yearly for insurance and yet limits the worth its consumers’ services to less than the annual fee.
What makes Liberty unique is that it can be used together with any existing insurance plan that they hold. The discount offered by the existing plan is a discount to the reduced service charge under the Liberty plan. For example, a US$1353 full upper denture service is reduced to US$725 under the Liberty Plan. If you have an existing insurance that offers, say, a US$25 discount, this discount applies to the rate charged under the Liberty plan. The US$628 in savings that you enjoy under the Liberty plan will be increased further by the discount you enjoy under your other dental health plan.
Activation of your plan is immediate under the Liberty program. You can start enjoying your benefits at least 24 hours after you apply for membership. Application for membership can be done easily over the Internet. You can also apply by calling 1-888-LIB-DENT on regular business hours.
You can receive your membership card after about 7 working days at most. But you need not worry if you need emergency treatment during that time, because an accredited dentist can just confirm that you are a Liberty plan holder through the program’s website.
Another unique feature of the program is its coverage of cosmetic dentistry, which other plans and traditional insurance companies do not provide discounts to. With the Liberty Program, you can have your teeth whitened and have porcelain laminates or veneers for a reduced service charge. You can also replace lost or missing teeth through dental implants, which are also covered under the Liberty program.
You won’t need a referral charge to enjoy discounted services by accredited specialists. This means that you can just go over to these dentists and have them treat you for a reduced price.
The Liberty program is designed to cover almost every dental treatment that exists, so that a member should not anymore have to worry about paying the full price for dental services. Even if a particular treatment is not covered, accredited dental professionals have agreed to still shave off a fourth of the full price for Liberty Program members.
Availability of Dentists
The Liberty Program is concentrated in the areas of New York and New Jersey. This means that only residents living within these two states and those living within 15 minutes of their borders can access dentists and dental specialists that provide reduced services under the program.
